Nancy Sherker

Nancy E. Sherker, 64, of Exeter Township, passed away,Tuesday, October 13th, 2015 in her residence. She was the widow of Jeffrey L. Sherker who passed away June 27, 2003. Born in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Charles L.,Sr. and Marian (Libby) Priar. Nancy was a graduate of Exeter High School in 1968 and attended Penn State and Kutztown Universities. She loved gardening, the beach, working on her property and especially spending time with family and friends. Nancy was the director of Arcadia Recovery Bureau in Reading for 24 years. She is survived by: One Son: Kevin D. Sherker of Lewes, Delaware; Two Brothers: Charles L. Priar, Jr. husband of Laurie of Cape May, NJ and Ronald G. Priar husband of Lisa of Birdsboro; Brother-In-Law: Richard B. Sherker, Jr. of Chalfont, PA, Sister-In-Law: Kathleen C. wife of Richard Rhoads of Fleetwood and Brother-In-Law: Ronald E. Sherker of Birdsboro and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will he held on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in Schwarzwald Lutheran Church 250 Church Lane Road Reading, Pa 19606. Interment private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Reading Public Museum Arboretum Fund 500 Museum Road Reading, PA 19611.
