Charles Miller Jr

Charles Miller Jr., 80, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away, Sunday, November 8th, 2015 in the Keystone Villa at Douglassville. He was the husband of Margaret Ann (Januszewski) Miller. Born in Uniontown PA, he was the son of the late Charles, Sr. and Virginia (Grimm) Miller. Charles was a member of the GTV Almrausch Schuplatters German folk dancing group. Charles was also a United States Air Force Vietnam War Era Veteran and also was in the reserves. He was a member of the American Legion Elm Tree Post #88, Philadelphia. He was a retired Sergeant for the Philadelphia Police Department. He then worked in security of St. Joseph's Hospital in Philadelphia. In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by two sons: Charles Miller, III, husband of Denise of Mt. Penn, Joseph Eric Miller husband of Annamarie of Berlin, NJ and one daughter Karen wife of Thomas Anastasia of Langhorne. Charles is also survived by six grandchildren-Kaitlin, Charles, IV , Avonlea, Zosia, Gabrielle and Joseph; one sister Evelyn Ferruggiari of Vineland, NJ. He was pre deceased by a daughter Sharon Miller and a Brother Franklin Miller. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 1:30-2:30 p.m. with services beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2015 in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Mt. Penn.
