Erika Priebe passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Silver Lake Nursing Home, in Levittown. She was 85.
Born in Allentown, PA she went to Germany at the age of 3 and returned back to the US at the age of 17, making her home in the Reading area for many years. Mrs. Priebe later moved to Levittown, PA, Toms River, NJ, and lastly to Bensalem, where she was a member of Saint Ephrem Parish for over 20 years.
Mrs. Priebe was an unbelievable cook, everything she made was from scratch. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Beloved wife of the late Frederick C. Priebe, Sr. and loving mother of the late Michael (Linda), Mrs. Priebe is survived by her devoted sons, Eric (Diane) of Ohio, Frederick C. Jr. (Judith) of Delaware, Peter (Sharon) of California and Kevin (Lenore) of New Jersey. She will also be sadly missed by her 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family in Germany. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. Graveside service will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to your local animal shelter would be greatly appreciated!
