Edna Kehs

Edna L. Kehs, 84, formerly of Reading, passed awayThursday, September 22, 2016 in Berkshire Center. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Leo Augustus Kehs and Edith (Griscom). Edna was a glass molder for Penn Optical from 1959 until her retirement. She is survived by her family, Terry Readinger, Jr. husband of Heidi and their children, Travis, Jay, Cayleigh and Amanda; Wayne and Anna Volker; Lorna Readinger wife of the late Doug Readinger and their children, Doug, Jr. husband of Mindy, Brennen, Sabrina and Brittney of South Carolina. She was pre-deceased by Lillian C. Geldner, George and James Firing and Jackie Showers Volker. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in Forest Hills Memorial Park, 391 W. Neversink Road, Reading, PA 19606. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. She spent her life lovingly caring for her family.
