Christopher J. Wambold

Christopher J. Wambold, 28, of Exeter, passed away, Tuesday, October 4th, 2016 in Reading Hospital Medical Center following a motor vehicle accident . Born in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania , he was a son of Michael J. Wambold of Exeter and Ingrid Richter of Stockton, NJ and formerly of Reading . Chris was a 2006 graduate of Exeter High School, loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar, the drums and singing. Chris was also a huge fan of comic book super heroes and was passionate about being a weight lifting and nutrition enthusiast. Chris started working at Dairy Queen at age 14 and more recently employed by Amazon Fulfillment. In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by one daughter, Lydia Wambold and her mother Wanda Maldonado; one brother, Bryan E. Wambold of Reading and his maternal grandmother, Berta Richter. He is also survived by three half brothers; Michael, Jeffrey, Steven, two half sisters; Stephanie Appleby and Lindsey Kahn as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Chris was pre deceased by his maternal grandfather Erich Richter. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 12th, 2016 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606.
