Linda Reimert

Linda L. Reimert, 70, of Mount Penn, passed away Friday, October 21, 2016 in her residence. She was the wife of Frederick R. Reimert, Sr. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Ammon D. and Bernice (Ludwig) Nein. Linda was a member of Trinity U.C.C.-Mount Penn. She was a community volunteer, loved to play bingo and cook, sit on her front porch swing, visit with her neighbors, and entertain her grandchildren. Linda worked at People's Trust Bank and was later employed at the Mt. Penn Elementary School Cafeteria, from which she retired in 2009. In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by one son, Frederick R. Reimert, Jr. husband of Shannon of Exeter and one daughter, Jenny wife of Todd Weikel of Lower Alsace ; four grandchildren, Kaleen, Jacob, Morgan and Ethan. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Ammon "Butch" Nein, Jr. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 10:00-11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606.
