Emilie Seidel

Emilie A. Seidel, 96, of Exeter Township, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in Reading Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Lee N. Seidel who passed away December 31, 1996. Her first husband, Robert W. Sweitzer passed away in 1956. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Franklin and Sarah (Britton) Erisman. Emilie was a member of Schwarzwald Lutheran Church. She is survived by three sons, W. Randall Sweitzer of Lititz, Kim B. Sweitzer of Cross Plains, WI and David L. Seidel of Birdsboro and six grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Mildred Einsel. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Reading, PA 19606. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Schwarzwald Lutheran Church Youth Group, 250 Church Lane Road, Reading, PA 19606.
