October 15, 1965 — July 20, 2017

Wendi L. Pettinato, 51, of North Heidelberg Township, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 in Penn State Health- St. Joseph Medical Center. She was the wife of Daniel P. Pettinato, Jr. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of Clair M. Bieber of Oley and Elaine J. (Snyder) wife of Maynard B. Koch of West Lawn. Wendi was a graduate of Wilson High School and the Bryland School of Cosmetology. She was also a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church. She bowled in a league at Berks Lanes, volunteered for the Conrad Weiser Little Scouts football team and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Yankees fan. Wendi's true passion was being the owner/operator of Custom Cuts in Mohnton for 25 years. In addition to her husband and parents, Wendi is survived by two sons, Daniel P. Pettinato, III and Logan N. Pettinato; a brother, Matthew J. Bieber of Reading; niece, Carley Bieber and nephew, Aaron Bieber as well as her maternal grandparents, David and Doris Snyder of West Lawn. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Bryan Bieber. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 pm with services being held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 9:00 am all in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606. Interment private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 498 E. Bellevue Ave., Reading, PA 19605.
