Obituary for Dennis Graham

Dennis Graham
Dennis I. Graham, 73, of Douglassville, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018, at St. Joseph Hospital. He is the husband of Cynthia A. (Quinter) Graham. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he was a son of the late Ivan Graham and Julia (Shute) Graham. Dennis graduated from La Mirada High School in California and received his Bachelor of Science degree in nuclear physics from California State University in Fullerton, California. He later went on to acquire an MBA from Akron University in Akron, Ohio. Dennis was an engineer in product development at Teleflex for many years, most recently working for Kongsberg Automotive retiring in 2016. He also is a past President for the American Boat and Yacht Council. A member of Reformation Lutheran Church in Exeter Township, he was awarded The Lamb Award from the Lutheran Council. His passion for the Boy Scouts is evident in his many decades of service as a Scoutmaster as well as Roundtable commissioner and other leadership positions at the district level. He was Scoutmaster of Troop 319 in Exeter for 24 years as well as Troop 321 in Hudson, Ohio. Dennis is a recipient of the Silver Beaver Award for his service to scouting over 45 years. Dennis is survived by his three sons: Stephen husband of Lisa of Harleysville, James husband of Don Gleason of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and Scott husband of Susan of Boise, Idaho; and three grandchildren Nathan, Oliver and Teagan. Also surviving are three sisters, Sandy Bilyeu, Debbie Stamoulous and Jeanine Robbins. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday January 19, 2018, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading. Services will be Saturday January 20, 2018, at 11:00 am at Reformation Lutheran Church, 3670 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading.
