Vivian A. Seidel, 87, of Reading, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Claude L. Seidel who passed away on August 14, 1990. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late William and Ruth (Graber) Witters. Vivian graduated from Mt. Penn High School and was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. She loved spending time at the casino, traveling on cruises and butterflies. Vivian worked at Mt. Penn Trust as a Banker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Vivian is survived by one son Gary L. husband of Debra E. of Birdsboro and one daughter LuAnn wife of Barry L. Deininger of Laureldale; four grandchildren, Tim Seidel husband of Sarah, Aaron, Zachary and Cody Deininger; seven great grandchildren, Kian, Kia, Kohan, Kara, Kaylani, Cora, Wyatt; and one sister Corrine Witters. In addition to her husband Claude, she is predeceased by two brothers, Glenn and Dale Witters. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 10:00 am -11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading. Interment will be at Spies-Zion Cemetery, Alsace Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to a charity of your choice. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc.
