Obituary for Michael Butcher Sr.

Michael  Butcher Sr.
Michael D. Butcher, Sr., 56, of Douglassville, known to most as "Butcherman", passed away, Tuesday, May 22, 2018 peacefully after a long battle with cancer. He was the husband of Gina Marie (Mazzie) Butcher for 38 years. Born in Camden NJ, he was a son of the late George R. Sr. and Harriet E. (Cohen) Butcher. Michael most enjoyed spending time with family especially his grandchildren, Tae Kwon Do, fishing and camping. In addition to his wife Gina, Michael is survived by his three children: Michael D. Jr. husband of Kimberly M. of Exeter, Janine N. of Douglassville, and Jason P. husband of Julie K. Butcher of New Jersey; and five grandchildren Adreanna, Angelina, Mason, Layla and Kamryn. Also surviving are six brothers George, Steven, Albert, Sam, Matthew, Joseph and one sister Beth. A celebration of life gathering will be held on Sunday June 3rd from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. at Amity Fire Hall 47 Pine Forge Rd Douglassville 19518. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc.
