So sorry to read of Peggy's passing. I first knew Peggy as a member of the Mt. Penn Jr.'s and then as a teacher. She was a very special person. She taught my daughter Amanda. She will be missed by all who knew her. Prayer's for Calvin and the boys.

Cal, Matt and Mark,
Please accept our deepest sympathy. We are deeply sorry for your loss. May time help all of you to heal. We have many fond memories when we were back yard neighbors. It was truly a pleasure to know Peggy. Your long time friends. Gary and Pat Krick

I worked with Peggy at Mount Penn Elementary School for many years. If you ever needed a helping hand or just someone to talk to, Peggy was always there. She was a good listener and had great advice: truly a friend. I knew Calvin, her husband, from Moss Street. How friendly, quiet-spoken, and kind he was back then. His sister Flo (Sis) was often in our home as my sisters and I were growing into young ladies. We considered her a good friend, too. I even taught both of Peggy and Calvin's sons, Mark and Matt, in school at Mount Penn. I was blessed knowing each and every one of them and truly feel the loss of Peggy. I am very sad to hear of her passing, but I know that God will have a special place for her in heaven. One day we will all meet again.

She was my first Teacher and I cried every single morning because I was shy and scared. She would console me and redirect me and made kindergarten an awesome experience. The jungle gym in the classroom was a great touch! I have forgotten a lot of teachers names but not hers! So sorry for your loss she was amazing and will always be remembered
