Robert C. Schock, 98, of Wyomissing, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023, in Reading Hospital. He is survived by his beloved wife Barbara (Buday) Schock to whom he was married to for 43 years. He was predeceased by his first wife Ruth (Kimbel) Schock in 1976. Born in Port Carbon, Schuylkill County, he was the son of the late Edwin and Mary (Thomas) Schock. He attended St Catharine of Siena R.C.C. Robert played the trombone with the Wyomissing Band, Ringgold Band, Cadet Band, Philharmonic Band, and many dance bands in the area. He was last associated with the Berks County Senior Citizens Orchestra, now known as the Berks Encore Orchestra.

Robert was a graduate of Reading High School, class of 1942, Reading Business Institute, and Wharton School of Business. He attended the Wyomissing School of Fine Arts. He was employed as a Financial Manager and Controller for 31 years for Continental Can Co. Inc., in Reading, Cartaret NJ, New York City, and Greenwich, Connecticut. Robert was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in Italy, France, and Germany.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his son Kerry, husband of Dale. He is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by his son Glenn.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2022 at 10:00 am in St. Catharine Of Siena Chapel 2427 Perkiomen Avenue Mt. Penn, Pennsylvania 19606.
