I was a classmate of Dave Schaeffer, graduating with him in 1965, when he was class president. He was friendly, smart and a credit to our class. I last saw him at our 50th class reunion which he helped organize. My sincere condolences to his family. I know they will share happy memories of this good man.

Dear Arleen and families of David, I had the privilege to know and acknowledge Dave each Sunday in Church. He so enjoyed sharing the Soup Bowl each year with his wife and friends, held for the Opportunity House. I volunteered there and loved talking about it with him. Dave was a quiet and honorable man. I admired him. My prayers to his wife and all of his family. Janet Lutz Adams

Dave was a couple grades ahead of me in high school. From what I remember, he was well liked by everyone. I was a friend of his sister, Lee. My sincere condolences to Lee and the rest of Dave's family.
