Diane L. (Auchenbach) Goodhart, 77, of Robesonia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 18, 2021, in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. She was the wife of Barry G. Goodhart, Robesonia for 55 years. Born in Reading, Pa, she was the daughter of the late Paul A. and Louise C. (Boyer) Auchenbach. Diane graduated from Reading High School class of the 1962. She was employed as a commercial artist at Rieck's Printing for many years. Diane is survived by her four daughters; Christine D. Goodhart, Tara Lynn G. Moyer, wife of Steven Moyer, Tember L. Hamm, wife of Michael Hamm, and Regan B.G. Jandrew, wife of Chad Jandrew; two brothers, Lee W. Auchenbach, husband of Jill Auchenbach, and Scott A. Auchenbach, husband of Susie Auchenbach. She has two grandchildren Lyle and Xelia Jandrew.
Diane was a ceramics instructor in Cortland, New York for a few years before settling down in Robesonia, Pa. She worked full time being a wonderful mother of four active daughters and taking care of her home that she designed and built with her father and husband. She was an original, lifetime member of the Skyline Drive Corvette Club which officially formed in 1964. Diane was the club's in-house artist and historian creating various SDC logos, designs and over 30 photo albums that captured the club's life events. Diane was also a passionate connoisseur of dining out and loved dancing and listening to her brothers in their various bands. She loved to draw, paint, and create various crafts. Diane was passionate about creating designs for her Scherenschnitte art and took pleasure in being outdoors working in her many flower gardens. Diane ultimately loved spending time creating memories with family and friends.
A memorial service will be at on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Lutz Funeral Home, 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading Pa 19606.
