Cathy Lynne (Stricker) Fox, 61, of Birdsboro, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020, in her home with her family by her side. She was the wife of Dale E. Fox for 41 years. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of Carol (Snyder) Stricker, Exeter and the late Jack Stricker.
To sum up someone’s life in a few paragraphs is impossible, but loyal & caring would be the words that best described Cathy. She enjoyed many things including; crocheting, traveling, relaxing by her pool, taking care of her garden, but nothing as much as being there for her family and friends. She was a dedicated wife, mother, mom mom, sister, niece, aunt, friend and touched countless lives throughout her life.
Whether it was volunteering in the classroom, her sons’ sporting events or just being there to listen, she always devoted her life to being there for others. For this, and countless other reasons she will be missed dearly by all.
In line with her passion for taking care of others, Cathy spent the majority of her career working as a hairstylist. She managed several salons and provided services to her family and friends. In recent years she worked as a medical billing specialist for MBMS.
In addition to her husband and her mother, Cathy is survived by her son, Dean E., husband of Tischa, Exeter, her granddaughter Ella M.; and her siblings: Cheryl Stricker, MD, Greg Stricker, Exeter, Janelle Merklinger, Denver, and dozens of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She is predeceased by her son Frank and her brother Jack Jr.
