Naomi D. (Rohrbach) Hinnershitz, 85, of Reading, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, in her home. She was the wife of Thomas C. Hinnershitz. Born in Oley, PA, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mabel (Diehl) Rohrbach. Naomi attended Muhlenberg School District and was a member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church. She loved baking and feeding anyone who walked in the door. Naomi worked in the cafeteria for Antietam School District for many years.
In addition to her husband, Naomi is survived by her sons: Harold, husband of Lynne, Muhlenberg, Tommy, Mohnton, David, husband of Sherry, Muhlenberg and Glen, companion of Joann, Shillington; and five grandchildren: Thomas, Kristy, Katie, Scott and Ryan. Also surviving are five great grandchildren: Tye, Hendrix, Benjamin, Samuel and William; and one brother Horace.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Mt. Penn. Service is private. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1375 Friedensburg Rd., Reading, PA 19606.
