Louis A. Fiorini

January 10, 1929 — March 13, 2021

Louis A. Fiorini, 92, of Mt. Penn, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Country Meadows of Wyomissing. He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Theresa L. (Michalski) Fiorini. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Carl J. and Letizia M. (Marino) Fiorini. He graduated from Reading High School and was a member of St. Catharine Of Siena R.C.C. Lou was a member of St. John's Lodge #435 F & AM and served as Master in 1976, he also served as Past Thrice Potent Master of the Scottish Rite Lodge of Perfection. He received his 33rd degree in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1997. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1951-1953 as part of the US occupation forces in Germany. Lou was a life member of the First Infantry Division, and took particular pride in being a member of "The Big Red 1". Professionally he worked for the J.E. Tobacco Co. in Reading for 35 years, beginning as a salesman and eventually being promoted to Sales Manger; a position he held for many years until his departure in 1982. Later in his career he worked in sales for Luden's Inc., after which he worked as a Confectionary Broker and salesman for Chase-Goldenberg Candy Broker for 18 years until his retirement from the industry in 2001. He served the community following his retirement as a tipstaff in the Berks County Court System.

Lou is survived by his son Carl J. Fiorini, husband of Donna M. of Exeter Township. Also, two grandchildren Sarah M., wife of Chris Toporski and great-grandson Eric, grandson Carl J. Fiorini II, and his sister Elvira Keim, Lower Alsace Township. He was preceded in death by his two brothers Lucido D. and Joseph V. Fiorini, and his sister Regina Confer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 19, 2021 at 11:00 am in St Catharine Of Siena Chapel, 2427 Perkiomen Ave, Mt Penn, PA 19606. Interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery, Laureldale. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Catharine of Siena Memorial Fund, 2427 Perkiomen Ave., Mt. Penn, PA 19606.
