Marilyn J. (DeVos) Wangel, 94, of Macungie, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021. She was the wife of John E. Wangel who passed away in 2001. Born in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Rachel (DeMuyt) DeVos. Marilyn worked as a photographer for the Chicago Park District for many years until her retirement.
Marilyn is survived by one daughter Beth wife of Brian Loring, seven grandchildren; Whitney, John-Killough, Brendan, Kurt, Jared, Sam and Ash, as well as three great grandchildren. She was pre deceased by two sons Mark husband of Frances of Houston, TX and Scott and his wife Judy.
Services will be private. Interment will be at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Dementia Society of America or the American Stroke Association.
