Helen A Eshelman (Wagner)

Helen A. (Wagner) Eshelman, 83, of Exeter Township, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022, in her home. She was the wife of the late Gerald D. Eshelman, who passed away January 17, 2021. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Alma (Strause) Wagner. Helen graduated from Reading Senior High School in 1956 and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Helen was a member of RWBA; Reading Women's Bowling Association. She loved casinos and had a great sense of humor. Helen worked at the Berkshire Country Club as the secretary in the office for 33 years until her retirement.

Helen is survived by her children; Penny, wife of John Snyder, of Leesport, Sandra, wife of Robert Fegley, of Exeter, and Cindy, wife of Mark Gehris, of Exeter. She is also survived by her six grandchildren; Kristy, Jordan, Shaun, Alexis, Jenna, and Nathan, as well as one great-grandchild, Hendrix. She was predeceased by her son, Brian D. Eshleman, two brothers, and two sisters.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Mt. Penn, PA 19606. Interment will be at Spies-Zion Cemetery, Alsace Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 1559 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading PA 19602.
