Jean C. "Sunny" Longlott (Long)

Jean C. (Long) Longlott, also known as "Sunny", 89, of Selbyville, Delaware, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022, in her home. She was the wife of Lawrence E. Longlott. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Agnes (Madrak) Long. She was a 1950 graduate of Reading High School and was a member of Saint Luke's Catholic Church in Ocean City Maryland. Through the 1940's and 1950's, she was a Reading Holiday Dancer, travelling all over to perform. She did a lot of volunteer work at St. Joseph's Hospital in her free time. Jean was a housewife, devoted to taking care of her family, and she loved arts and crafts.

In addition to her husband, Jean is survived by her son Richard Longlott, Fort Lauderdale, FL, her daughters Cindy Longlott-Savage, wife of Gary, Alexandria, VA, and Debbie Longlott-McGowan, Flying Hills; her grandchildren Olivia, Matt, and Drew Longlott, Connor and Quinn McGowan; her great-grandchildren Darrow and Pax McGowan; and her sister Doris Alberts, Mount Penn.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am with services beginning at 11:30 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Mt. Penn, PA 19606. Interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Laureldale. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284.
