Mario Bisbano

May 7, 1943 — February 27, 2022

Mario Bisbano, 78, of Exeter Township, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022. He was the husband of Maria (Isgro) Bisbano, with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage. Born in Sicily (Falcone), Italy, he was the son of the late Tindaro and Sebastiana “Betty” (Cambria) Bisbano. Mario moved to America in 1954, attending St. Margaret’s Catholic School and later graduating from Central Catholic High School. He served his country in the United States Army as a Medic. Mario loved spending time with his family, and especially enjoyed Sunday dinners. His biggest joy was watching his grandchildren at their sporting events; he was their biggest fan. He loved watching sports on TV and attending local basketball games with his family. Mario was a welder and an assembly worker at Dana Corporation for over 30 years. He then worked at the Reading Public Museum for over 10 years.

In addition to his wife, Mario is survived by his children, Tindaro “Tim” S., of Wyomissing, Thomas J., of West Lawn and Loridonna M. Bisbano, wife of Eric Fisher, of Exeter. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jason M., Johnathan M. and Michael G. Fisher. Additionally, he is survived by his siblings, Carmelo Bisbano, husband of Joette and Pasqualina Scarpaci, wife of Guiseppe. Mario was predeceased by his grandson, Ryan A. Fisher, son of Loridonna M. Bisbano and Eric Fisher and his sisters, Sebastiana “Bessie” Imbesi and Carmela Toniolo.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C., Exeter Township. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. Masks and Social Distancing Required.
