Douglas G. “Doug” Deisher, 80 of Wyomissing, passed away suddenly in the Reading Hospital, on Friday, September 30, 2022. He was the husband of Maryann (Knarr) Deisher, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage.
Doug was born in Reading on December 13, 1941, a son of the late John and Edna (Squibb) Deisher. Doug was a graduate of Reading High School and was employed by Luden’s/Hershey plant in Reading working in material control as a shipping and receiving clerk for 46 years before his retirement.
Doug’s number one love was spending time with his family. He also enjoyed playing softball for many years and was a huge Alabama fan.
In addition to his wife, Doug is survived by his 3 daughters, Michelle E, wife of David Burdine, Denise L. Deisher and Jenean E. wife of David Natale, also his step-children Lisa wife of Todd Santoro and Richard Boone husband of Tracy, 6 grandchildren, Josh fiancé of Christy, Jordan, Todd, Gabrielle fiancé of Evan, Nicole, and Heather wife of Blake, as well as 6 great-grandchildren, Alajae, Jeweliany, Lucas, Rhys, Skarlet and 1 baby boy expected in November.
