Bengt Kaare Nodland

Bengt Kaare Nodland, 61, of St. Lawrence, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023, in his home. He was the husband of Brenda (Sheetz) Nodland, with whom he celebrated 30 years of marriage. Born in Norway, he was the son of Synnove (Fossum) Nodland and the late Kaare Nodland. Bengt was a graduate of Governor Mifflin High School, and went on to attend Berks Technical Institute for trucking. He worked at American Crane and Equipment in Douglassville for many years. Bengt was a member of the Daniel Boone Rod and Gun Club. He loved shooting, target practice, fly fishing, cars, and his remote control airplane.

In addition to his wife and his mother, Bengt is survived by his son Brandon Nodland; his sisters Wenche Bonini, wife of Bob, and Mette Gleason, companion of Mitch; and his nieces and nephews, Erik, Alex, and Nick Bonini, Alyssa Sollenberger, and Brigitte Gleason.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, February 6, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606.
