Patrick J. Alfiero (Moos), passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the age of 71. Born to Francis Alfiero and Margaret Lillis, Pat was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. Pat drove truck for Empire Steel and was also a paratrooper in the Army Reserve until his unfortunate accident in '74.
During his stay at Reading Rehabilitation Center he learned carving skills from his friend and mentor J. Randy Rowe. Pat was an amazing artist and loved working with his hands and it showed through his drawings and carvings. Pat created lifelike wildlife carvings, toys, dollhouses, and pedal cars. Every year he created a new Santa Claus carving for the love of his life Shirley I. Neeb.
Pat had a great love for nature and the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, and camping were his favorite past-times. If you couldn't find him for the day, guaranteed he was fishing somewhere. He also loved his dogs, especially his beagles and his cat Fry Guy.
Pat leaves behind the love of his life, his wife, Shirley I. Neeb, whom he was with for over 52 years; his children, Cora E. K. Boyer, and Laurel Iannelli, wife of Michael T. Iannelli; his grandchildren Tiffany K. Mosser and Thomas K. Boyer, husband of Staci M. Woyton; his great grandchildren Kenneth M. Boyer, partner of Jessica Weigel, Payton J. Boyer, and Miles K. Boyer; his great-great-grandchildren Christina Rose and Logan M.
