Alfred J. Weber

Alfred J. Weber, 72, of Exeter Township, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at University of Penn Hospital. He was the husband of Margie (Derbyshire) Weber. Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Alfred N. and Evelyn Katherine (Farrell) Weber. Al graduated from St. Dominic Savio Preparatory High School in East Boston, and Boston College with a Bachelor's Degree in English. He was the President of Tweed-Weber-Danks, which was founded in 1984. There he worked with hundreds of businesses, not-for-profit organizations, health and home care agencies and associations across the country. In addition to his work at Tweed-Weber-Danks, Al served on the Boards of several for-profit and not-for-profit organizations including Tompkins Financial Corporation, Tompkins Community Bank, Tompkins Bank of PA, Boscov's LLC, New Standard Corporation, Our City of Reading, Inc., United Way of Berks County, Greater Reading Chamber Alliance, Berks County Workforce Investment Board, Greater Berks Development Fund, Burn Prevention Foundation, Berks County Community Foundation, and Alvernia University.

In addition to his wife Margie, Al is survived by his children; Adam Weber, husband of Jessica, and Lauren Johnson, wife of Travis. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Zane, Leo, Hudson, and Landry, as well as his siblings; Nicholas Weber, husband of Robin, Mark E. Weber, husband of Cathie, and Mary W. Sarris.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606.
