Anna K. (Kemp) Eifert, 82, of Exeter Township, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 in the Reading Hospital. She was the wife of Emanuel E. "Sonny" Eifert Jr., with whom she celebrated 60 years of marriage. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Samuel M. Kemp Sr. and Ella (Fritz) Kemp. Anna graduated from Reading High School and was a member of Zion Spies Evangelical Lutheran Church. She worked at Western Electric for many years. Anna enjoyed crocheting hand towels for family and friends, playing games on her ipad, and watching old movies.
In addition to her husband Sonny, Anna is survived by her daughter Deneen, wife of Rick Schittler, her granddaughter Brittney Schittler, and her great-grandson Atlas Schittler. She is also survived by her brother Robert Kemp, and her sister Mary Jane Stieff. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Alvin Kemp, Samuel Kemp Jr. Charles Wahl, and Jane Donohue.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024 beginning at 2:00 pm at Spies Zion Cemetery, 318 Spies Church Road, Reading, PA 19606.
