Robert L Auker

Robert L. Auker, 78, of Exeter Township, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023, in Berkshire Center. He was the husband of Linda (Reider) Auker, with whom he celebrated 43 years of marriage. Born in Gouglersville, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Daniel and Mary (Scott) Auker. Bobby graduated from Governor Mifflin High School in 1965. He was a member of Saint John's United Church of Christ, Gibraltar. Bobby worked at Emperor Aquatics as an assembler until his retirement.

In addition to his wife, Bobby is survived by his children; Jodi McKillips, wife of Dave, Robert Auker Jr., husband of Leslie, and his step-daughter Becky Grose, wife of Chris. He is also survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and lots of nieces and nephews. Bobby was predeceased by his granddaughter Megan Lowe, and his siblings; Lester M. Auker, Eugene Auker, Grace Sweitzer. Hazel Kramer, Pauline Sweigart, Virginia Sweigart, and Marion Auker, as well as his best friend and dog Lily.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606. Interment will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Saint John's U.C.C., 57 Saint John's Road Birdsboro, PA 19508.
