Russell R. "Dick" Bender Jr.

Russell R. “Dick” Bender, Jr., 50, of Exeter Township, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 in St. Joseph Medical Center. He was the husband of Deborah (Sallada) Bender. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Russell R. Bender, Sr. and Sebastiana M. “Sebie” (Vilardo) Bender companion of Doug Sands. Dick was a graduate of Reading High School. In addition to his wife and mother, Dick is survived by: Two Daughters: Kelly Wolf of Hamburg and Tiffany Bender of Reading; Three Step-Children; Four Grandchildren and Five Step-Grandchildren; Two Sisters: Kathy A. wife of Daniel J. Ulrich, Jr. of Fleetwood and Susan M. (Bender) Kramlich with whom he resided and several nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be held from 11:30-1:00 P.M. with funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2015 in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Mt. Penn.
