William L. Bertoti, 65, of Oley Township, passed away on Saturday July 19, 2014 in the Cape Regional Medical Center- Cape May Courthouse, NJ. He was the husband of Dolores B. (Brough) Bertoti.
Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late William and Elizabeth (Beres) Bertoti.
Will was a graduate of Pottstown High School and received his teachers certificate from Temple University. Will was an Auto Shop Teacher for Pottstown Senior High School for 20 years. Prior to that he was the service manager for Dan Phelps Buick/GMC. He was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was an active member of St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C. where he completed their RCIA program in 1996 and was the originator of St. Catharine’s Garden Ministry. He was also a member of the Performance, Inc. Car Club of Pottstown and a member of the Lower Alsace Pool Team.
In addition to his wife, Will is survived by: Son: Christopher William Bertoti of Reading and One Sister: Ilona Kauffman of Pottstown.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM-11:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:30 AM on Saturday, July 26 in St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C. 4975 Boyertown Pike Reading, PA 19606. Interment private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Willy Bertoti Memorial Scholarship Fund C/O Santander Bank 1565 E. High Street Pottstown, PA 19464 or to Dolores’s address- 112 Misty Lane Reading, PA 19606. This scholarship fund will be used for Pottstown High School students to go to secondary automotive service schools.
