Barry L. Bingaman

Barry L. Bingaman, 83, of Bechtelsville, passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2018, in Pottstown Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Reba N. (Reeser) Bingaman with whom he shared 63 years of marriage. Born in Reading, Pa, he was the son of the late Woodrow W. and Ethel May (Leinbach) Bingaman. Barry graduated from Mt. Penn High School in 1953 and was a member of Good Shepherd U.C.C. - Boyertown. Barry was a true outdoors man. He loved golfing, bowling, fishing, hunting and playing cards. Barry was the owner/operator of Bingaman Floor Covering for 45 years until his retirement. In addition to his wife Reba, Barry is survived by one son Theodore W. husband of Linda and one daughter Denise M. fiancee of Peter Doukas; four grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, Adam, Brittany; and eight great-grandchildren, Genevieve, Alexander, Bennett, Haylee, Luke, Sophia, Cooper and Wyatt. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606.
