Orion G. Boarder

Orion G. Boarder, 89, of Oley, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023 in Country Meadows Retirement Community. He was the husband of Nancy (Wills) Boarder. Orion was predeceased by his first wife, Mary J. Boarder (Zorena), who passed away in 2002. Born in Reading PA, he was the son of the late Orion G. and Mabel (Hauder) Boarder. Orion was a 1952 graduate of Reading High School. He enjoyed a long career at Gilbert Associates Inc. as a Project Controls Engineer until his retirement in 1997.

In addition to his wife, Orion is survived by his sons Keith Boarder (husband of Meg), Kevin Boarder (husband of Wendy), his brother, Donald Boarder, six grandchildren (Teresa, Candace, Stephanie, Jamie, Steven, and Ryan) as well as 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Ave, Mt. Penn, PA.
