Ethel E. Boone

Ethel E. Boone, 91, of Exeter Township, passed away Thursday, January 16th, 2013 in Berkshire Commons. She was the widow of Harvey M. Boone who passed away January 1, 2009. Born in St. Lawrence, she was a daughter of the late Albert B. and Lillie M. (Gottschall) Swavely.Ethel was a graduate of Mount Penn High School in 1939 and a member of Schwarzwald United Church of Christ-Jacksonwald. She was employed by the former Berkshire Knitting Mills as a topper then a seamer until her marriage to Harvey. Ethel loved her family who meant everything to her. She is survived by: Two Daughters: Eileen L. wife of Richard W. Weisser, Jr. of Exeter Twp. and Marleen L. widow of Richard W. Wiseman, Sr. of Westminster, MD; Two Granddaughters: Amy (Weisser) wife of Brian Lubenow and Lori (Weisser) wife of James Simmons, IV; Two Step Grandsons: Richard W. Wiseman, Jr. and Shawn Wiseman husband of Kristen; Great-Grandchildren: Ian, Molly and Erik Lubenow and Peyton and Taylor Simmons; Step-Great-Granddaughter: Natalee Mixter and One Brother: Eugene A. Swavely. She was pre-deceased by two brothers: Norman and Elmer Swavely and a great-granddaughter Kelsey Lubenow. Funeral Services will be held in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Mount Penn on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. Friends may call from10:00 am to11:00 am. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
