Deirdre “Dee” A. Bowers, 54, of Mount Penn, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014 surrounded by her loving family in her residence. She was the wife of Todd L. Bowers.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Raymond A. Reiter and of Joan (Lewis) Zeiber of Temple, and step-daughter of the late Larry Zeiber
Dee was a graduate of Oley Valley High School in 1978 and Alvernia College with a B.S. in Accounting. She loved scrapbooking, her dog Marshal, and vacationing with her family. She especially enjoyed visiting San Francisco, Charleston, and Maine. Dee was active in Antietam sports-boosters, Exeter Relay for Life, and her church, Trinity UCC Mount Penn. Dee last worked as an Accounting and Financial Analyst for Santander Bank.
In addition to her mother and husband, Dee is survived by: Two Sons: Caleb, attending law school in Berkeley, California and Jared, attending Temple University in Philadelphia; Two Brothers: Larry Zeiber, Jr. of California and Greg Reiter of Florida.
Visitation with the family will be held from 11:30 A.M.-1:00 P.M. with services beginning at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, November 10, 2014 in Trinity UCC 2449 Cumberland Ave. Reading, PA 19606. Interment in Forest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League P.O. Box 69 Mohnton, PA 19540. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc.
