Richard W. Bowers Sr.

Richard W. Bowers Sr., 90, of Lower Alsace, passed away, Friday, November 10, 2017 in his Residence . He was the husband of Patricia A. (Bonsall) Bowers. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Luther and Grace (Lutz) Bowers. Dick was a member of the Untied States Navy during World War II and a truck driver for many years until his retirement. He is survived by one son Richard Bowers Jr. of Coopersburg, one daughter Debra wife of Barry Shaak of New Jersey, one granddaughter Michaila Denton and two great grandchilden Harrison and Grace. He is also survived by two brothers Jack Lee, Barry Bowers and one sister Jean Sassaman. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 9:00 am 10:30 am with services beginning at 10:30 am in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave Mt. Penn.
