Jean C. Brice (Poper)

Jean C. (Poper) Brice, 84, formerly of St. Lawrence and Ocean View, Delaware, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, in Chestnut Knoll, Boyertown where she resided since October. Forever grateful for the many special angels that surrounded us in memory care and touched our hearts as mom took her final journey. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Brice, who passed away August 19, 2016. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Julia (Ziayka) Poper. Jean graduated from Reading High School in 1955. She loved her dogs, cooking, fishing, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially in Delaware where many treasured memories were made. Jean and her husband founded Suburbia Safety Center, Jacksonwald in 1963 and operated until their retirement in 1999.

Jean is survived by her children; Brenda, wife of David Cullen, of Alsace, Michael J., of Exeter, Steven S., of Reading, Joseph J., husband of Joyce, of Sinking Spring, and daughter -in-law Michele Brice, of Alsace. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, known to all as "Busi", as well as her sister Josephine Roth. Jean was predeceased by brothers Thomas and John Poper and sisters Cecilia Delaney, Helen Michalak and Mary Landis
