Hubert A. Brickey

Hubert A. Brickey 91, formerly of Exeter Township, passed away Thursday August 24, 2017 in Saucon Valley Manor. He was the husband of Alma Brickey who passed away on March 24, 2013, with whom he had celebrated 65 years of marriage at her time of passing. Born in West Norton, Virginia, he was a son of the late Worley and Famey (Vandergriff) Brickey. Hubert was in the US Navy from 1944 through 1946 where he was a motor machinist. He then worked at Limerick Power Plant as an iron worker until retirement in 1989. He is survived by two daughters; Deborah, wife of Gene Shalters of Knoxville PA and Dee, wife of Kevin Moyer of White Sulpher Springs, Montana. Also surviving are four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson and two brothers Glenn and Roland. He was prececeased by four brothers and one sister. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am with services beginning at 10:30 am at the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading.
