Maria D. Bucks (Aiello)

Maria D. (Aiello) Bucks, 92, of Reading, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022, in Keystone Villa - Douglassville. She was the wife of James W. Bucks who passed away in 2008. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Susan (Rose) Aiello . Maria graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1948 and was a member of St. Paul's RCC.

Maria is survived by her three sons: James J. husband of Kathy, Anderson, SC, Michael D. husband of Madelyn, Reading; David husband of Annette, St. Lawrence; seven grandchildren: Lindsay, Emily, Thomas, Cowan, Logan, Thomas Lee Bucks and Zachary Smith; and great grandchildren Zander and Lexyss Bucks. Also surviving are one brother Joseph husband of Randy and two sisters, Connie Screpesi and Cathy Scheffler. She is predeceased by her son Thomas.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 12:30 pm to 1:30 at Lutz Funeral Home, 2100 Perkiomen Ave Reading Pa 19606 with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 2:00 pm in Gethsemane Cemetery, Chapel of Resurrection 3139 Kutztown Rd. Laureldale, PA 19605. Interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Chapel of Resurrection, Laureldale.
