Jerome L. Burinsky (Jerry)

Jerome L. (Jerry) Burinsky, 79, of Birdsboro passed away at home on 02/26/2013. He was the husband of Esther (Doaty) Burinsky for 55 years. Born in Pottsville Hospital, he was a son of Peter P. Burinsky and Caroline (Polny) Burinsky and stepson of Mary (Balulis) Burinsky. Jerry was a 1954 graduate of Minersville High School and Williamsport Technical Institute. He was employed at Berks Career and Technology Center for 30 years. He also worked as a Charter Bus Driver for Carl Bieber and later for Klein’s Transportation Service. He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. He is survived by one son, Dr. Ronald Burinsky, Brecknock Township and two granddaughters, Lauren (Burinsky) Overman Lonoke, Arkansas and Ariel Burinsky, South Korea. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Lawrence Burinsky. Arrangements are private at the convenience of the family.
