Harry J. Cappa Jr.

Harry J. Cappa, Jr., 58, of Exeter Township, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He was the husband of Kathryn A. (Guttroff) Cappa. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of Harry J. Sr. and Eileen T. (McGlinchey) Cappa of Hatboro, PA. Harry was a graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. He loved fishing, music, traveling, cruising and his family. Harry was the research and development manager for Sealstrip Corporation in Gilbertsville where he was employed for over 30 years. In addition to his wife and parents, Harry is survived by two sons, Gregory M. of Columbia, MD and Nicholas A. at home; one brother, Philip of Philadelphia and two sisters, Cecilia Cappa of Warminster and Theresa Janney of Willow Grove. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 9:00-10:30 am with a memorial service beginning at 10:30 am in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Reading, PA 19606.
