Bruce A. Castner

Bruce A. Castner, 77, of Virginville, passed away Tuesday, February 5th, 2013 in Rest Haven-Schuylkill County Home. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Dierolf) Castner. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Clarence and Irene (Dietrich) Castner. Bruce was a veteran of the United States Navy, a member of the Goodwill Beneficial Association and the Goodwill Fire Company. He was also a life member of the East Ends Athletic Club. Bruce was employed by Baldwin Hardware as a Toolmaker for 18 years until his retirement. In addition to his wife, Bruce is survived by: two sons: Michael Paul Castner husband of Kathy of Leesport and John B. Castner husband of Kim of Valley Forge; one daughter: Sherri L. Castner of Chicago, IL; four grandchildren: Brandon, Brooke, Tyler and Erin and One Great-Grandson: Nicholas. Services and Interment private at the convenience of t he family. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc.
