Claudette L. Noecker

Claudette L. (Kraus) Noecker, 86, of West Lawn, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at the Reading Hospital Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Rodney W. Noecker. Born in Reading, PA, she was the daughter of the late Francis L. and Sylvia M. (Williams) Kraus. Claudette graduated from Mt. Penn High School. She sang and played in an all-girls band named the "Novelettes" from 1955-1962. Claudette also sang with well-known area musical groups in Berks County. She traveled for 12 years, entertaining in the Midwest with "Claudette and Danny D." Claudette started working for Ram Motors and Control as a clerk in 1988, retiring in 2009.

Claudette is survived by her nephew, Todd Keefer. She was preceded in death by her sister, Romaine L. Keefer and her brother, Francis L. Kraus Jr.


Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
