Loren Clements

Loren Clements, 95, of Reading, passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center. He was the partner of Rhea Blankenbiller who passed away July 4, 2002. Born in Bernville, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Elwid and Florence (Yeager) Clements. Loren attended Reading High School until he joined and proudly served his country in The United States Marines during WWII. He was a lifelong member at the VFW, Hamburg Moose, and Hamburg Gun Club. Loren spent his career owning his own trash company until retirement.

Loren is survived by his children Loren Blankenbiller, Edward Blankenbiller, Diane Esser, and son in law Larry Esser. He is also survived by his grandson Drew; siblings Audrey Rapp, Florence Lutz, and William Clements. Loren was predeceased by his wife Violent Clements, son Gary Clements, and brothers Earl Clements and Ralph "Bobby" Clements.

A memorial service will be celebrated on Wednesday July 14, 2021 at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, Pa 19606. Interment will be private.
