Shirley A. Cruz-Cosme, 78, of Exeter Township, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014 in the Reading Hospital and Medical Center. She was the widow of Felix Cruz-Cosme.
Born in Wilkensburg, PA she was raised by her Aunt Ida Mae Herman who she referred to as her mother. She was a member of St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C.
Shirley is survived by: Two Sons: Richard A. Bender husband of Robin J. of Collegeville and Karl J. Bender of Los Angeles; Two Daughters: Debra A. wife of Mark Guinther of Mount Penn and Judy L. wife of Frank Amato with whom she resided; Eleven Grandchildren: Jeff, Tim, Jon, Melissa, Kenny, Richie, Jason, Francesco, Tony, Karl, Jr. and Chad; Seven Great-Grandchildren; One Brother: Bill Herman of Iowa and One Sister: Faye Crouse of Pittsburgh; Nephew: Rigo Torres of MD and all of her family residing in Puerto Rico and her loving dog River. She was pre-deceased by a son Kenneth R. Bender in 2003.
