Fernando Cuesta

Fernando Cuesta, 68, of Exeter, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Mercedes (Gomez) Cuesta. Born in Colombia, he was the son of the late Elias and Maria Cuesta. Fernando was a faithful member of St. Catherine of Siena R.C.C. He worked as a mechanical engineer for Dana Corporation for 27 years until his retirement. He was a devoted father to his children, Fernando, husband of Jamie, Mauricio, husband of Yamile, Daniel, Liliana Moore wife of Samuel Moore and grandchildren Gabriel, Bryce, Jacob and June. He is also survived by one brother, Jairo and three sisters, Luz Gomez, Rosa Acuna and Maria Esperanza Breen. He has been a beloved father-figure to all those who knew him and especially his nieces and nephew, Jacqueline Tovar, Cecile Alfiero, Carolina Ulloa, Cristina Latshaw and Steve Tovar. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday August 27 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Lutz Funeral Home 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Reading 19606. A mass of christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday August 28 at 12:00 noon at St. Catherine of Siena R.C.C.--Exeter Township 4975 Boyertown Pike Reading, PA 19606.
