Nicholas “Nick” Michael Cutsumbis, age 57, beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at his residence in Norton, OH.
Born in Columbus, OH he was a son of the late Michael Nicholas Cutsumbis and Janet (Dickson) Llewllyn of Marietta, OH.
Nick received a degree in drafting and design from Hocking Technical College and worked for FirstEnergy Corporation in the I.T. and Project Management Departments for the last 26 years,
Nick devoted large amounts of time to his community. He was an active parent in the Boy Scouts of America in the Annville-Cleona, PA area for over 12 years, serving as Cubmaster, Scoutmaster and on various boards and councils.
Nick loved spending time outdoors, hiking and biking, in Ohio’s beautiful metro park system. His fun-loving personality, along with his smile and laughter, will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Nick is survived by his wife, Jamison Jayne Manning of Norton, OH; son, N. Alexander Cutsumbis of Pittsburgh, PA; daughter, Meghan Nichole Cutsumbis of Frisco, TX; brother, Peter Matthew Cutsumbis of Birmingham, AL; sister, Ann Laurel Michele Akbari of Nashville, TN; stepsons, Eric Vincent and Evan James Arms of Reading, PA; granddaughter Avery Rose Arms; nieces, Alexa Akbari, Savannah Cutsumbis and nephew Brandon Cutsumbis.
Visitation with the family will be held from 10:00-11:00 A.M. followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 15, 2014 in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Reading, PA 19606. Burial will be at Spies-Zion Cemetery, Alsace Township, PA.
