David E. Kendall

David E. Kendall, 79, of Robeson Township, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Linda (Ulrich) Kendall, with whom he celebrated 56 years of marriage. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Elton and Betty (Boyle) Kendall. David graduated from Reading High School in 1963. He worked for Fromm Electric for 44 years until his retirement. David loved roller coasters and going to Disney with his family. He also enjoyed collecting Lionel Trains, and was a lover of all kinds of music. David was always willing to offer a helping hand to anyone who needed it, and will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by his son Scott Kendall, husband of Jodi, of Erial, NJ, his daughter Dawn Banks, wife of Ronald, of Muhlenberg. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Kirstie Bradley (Chris), Brandon Banks (MacKenna), Victoria Stucke (Dave), and Tyler Banks; three great-grandsons Nolan, Chase, and Brady, as well as his brother Brian Kendall, of Hamburg. He was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Kendall.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am, with services beginning at 10:30 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, 650 Fritztown Road, Sinking Spring, PA 19608. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Zoe's House Inc. PO Box 2372 Reading, PA 19608.
