Debra I. Degroff (Mcconnell)

Debra I. (McConnell) DeGroff, 69, of Exeter Township, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023, in Mifflin Center. She was the wife of Douglas B. DeGroff. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Brown) McConnell. Debra attended Fort Wayne High Snyder High School and graduated from Bryan High School in Ohio. She also graduated from Parkview School of Nursing. Debra was an RN for over 30 years, specializing in general surgery, long term care and pediatrics, lastly worked for All About Children Pediatrics.

In addition to her husband, Debra is survived by her daughter Hayley, wife of John Dever, III, Exeter and Sam husband of Liz, Wyomissing. She is also survived by six grandchildren, as well as her brother Bob, and sister Julie.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606. Interment will be at Schwarzwald Cemetery, Jacksonwald.
