Michael P. Demarte

Michael P. DeMarte, 74, of Stonersville, passed away, Saturday, May 13, 2017 in Reading Hospital and Medical Center . He was the husband of Charleen M (Henry) DeMarte. Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Patsy and Emma (Marck) DeMarte. Mike was a graduate of Exeter High School in 1960. He was a lifetime member of Stonersville Fire Company where he was the former Fire Chief. He also was a day driver for the Exeter Township Volunteer Fire Department. Mike was also a member of B.E.M.P.S hunting lodge in Nordmont. Mike is survived by one daughter Tracee M. DeMarte companion of Kenneth Templin of Birdsboro and one son Troy M. DeMarte of Stonersville. He is also survived by a grandson Troy M. Jr. Visitation with family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 10:00 am 11:00 am with services beginning at 11:00 am in the Lutz Funeral Home 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606.
