Iola M. Denby

Iola M. Denby, 76, of Collegeville, PA passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in the Phoenixville Hospital. She was the widow of Dr. Richard R. Denby. Born in Luzerne, PA she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Leonora (Gavazzi) Pisaneschi. Iola graduated from Misericordia University and was a member of St. Catharine of Siena R.C.C. Reading. Iola was a Certified Tumor Registrar at St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading and the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center where she retired from. She was also a former science teacher. Iola is survived by: One Son: Richard A Denby husband of Gail of Maryland; Two Daughters: Susan B. Denby companion of Blake Welling of Phoenixville and Karen M. Kauffman wife of David Kauffman of Colorado; Four Grandchildren: Rachel, Rebecca and Andrew Denby and Nicole Kauffman; One Sister: Norma Zurner of Forty Fort and One Brother: Mario Pisaneschi of Edwardsville. Visitation with the family will be held from 2:00-3:30 p.m. in the Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Ave. Reading, PA 19606 with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 4:00 p.m. in St. Catharine of Siena Chapel 2427 Perkiomen Ave. Reading, PA 19606 on Friday, September 5, 2014. Interment will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, September 6, 2014 in St. Mary’s Cemetery 1594 S. Main Street Wilkes-Barre, PA 18703.
